Partners in Parenting Consulting presents:
The Stork School for Expectant Parents
Feeling anxious and stressed about becoming a new parent?
The Stork School for Expectant Parents is here to help!
Wouldn’t it be nice if babies came with instructions? Unfortunately, they don’t, and new parents are left to navigate sleepless nights and postpartum recovery with little education or support. If you are feeling anxious and stressed about this major life transition, you are not alone. So much attention is given to preparation for labor and delivery, but what about the 4th trimester?
Convenient, Affordable, and Most Importantly, FUN!
We know how busy your life is already, so no worries. Access this course online from the convenience of your couch. Progress through the weekly modules at your own pace. There are no Zoom meetings or required in-person events.
At an Introductory Rate of $199, the course is a great value and an investment in your future family. As a BONUS, you’ll receive 10+ guides and checklists, which you can download for future reference. You can add us to your baby shower registry too!
Have fun! In addition to the educational content, we pride ourselves on incorporating relaxation, connection, and humor (although you’ll have to judge that one for yourself)!
What will I learn?
Over the course of 6 weeks, connect with other expectant parents in a learning cohort as you explore 12 modules with over 40 teaching topics, including postpartum self-care, baby safety, parent-child attachment, infant brain development, early literacy, baby soothing and feeding, the unique role of fathers/partners, and more. We use videos, discussion boards, short reading bytes, experiential activities, field work, and resource links to keep you engaged with the material, your peers, and your instructor.
Make connections with other expectant parents who are in the same stage of life. Students who complete the course will earn the Honorary Degree of Prepared Parent. You can do it – we are already cheering for you!
*This course is intended to augment a birthing and lactation course but not be a substitute for one.
-
The second trimester (months 4, 5, or 6) is ideal, but the course is appropriate for any time during the nine months of pregnancy.
-
We understand babies have their own timetable so you will be able to access the course for 90 days following the planned course end date (approx. 3 months).
-
Certainly! Register using your separate emails so you can each access the course.
-
Of course!
-
Not yet, but it’s a worthy goal. Please let us know if you have connections with a health insurance company or a benefits company that is looking for ways to stand out in the market by offering new wellness solutions.
-
We are actively partnering with workplaces that want to recruit and retain high quality employees by offering family friendly benefits. If you own or work for such a company, we’d love to connect and create a partnership.
-
A cohort is a group of students who learn and progress through a program together. Sounds a lot more exciting than learning alone, yes?
-
We are considering offering a 100% self-paced model in the future, so please contact us if you are interested.
-
Everyone studies at their own pace, but it should take approximately 8-10 hours to complete the course.
